S.O.D. - 7'' Collection 1985 - 2005

Like the Rude Kids post here's another Swedish 7'' Collection full of Hardcore Trash Punk and in this file are 31 songs in total. I'm sure every HC maniac believes it's Christmas. I've been listen to all EP's this morning and believe me; my day was saved. Pure energy like a good drug flowed through my body and I took up the struggle against the fucked up society again. I was wide awake!!! This is the right sound to start a day and you should try yourself. - This is caused by S.O.D. (Sound Of Disaster), they came from Mjölby and were formed in 83/84, they released three EP's but then split-up around 88/89, but Göran Lind, the vocalist started up the band in South Africa and did some gigs down there and continued with the band with people from Motala, which also did a demo recording. Löken from Rövsvett once played bass as stand in for Petri when he had injured his wrist, this was at "Slottet" in Norrköping in 1986. Particularly noteworthy is the 'Lagar Och Förordningar' EP, which is a bootleg and has songs from a demo recording from 1983 and was released in a limited edtition. They can be found on these compilations: Really Fast Vol.2, Svenska Punkklassiker Vol.2 and a tape called Really Fast Sweden. Very good stuff and so I think with this post I can dismiss you for today. Absolutes Muß!!!!
