V/A - The 3rd Man (Vienna Underground '87) LP

This rare compilation comes with a 32 pages booklet and was released by Ton Um Ton Records, so don't buy it without one. Highlighted here is the Vienna underground in form of 13 bands. Musically we have here a fine mix of Alternative & Punkrock sounds, a lot of the bands here are new for me, except Ronni Urini which has written with Catherine another classic song. Most of the bands doesn't made a record and are only here to hear, another "exotic bonus"???? - The album impresses me with a dirty mid-tempo sound and can quite measure with classics like TraunStadtKinder or Wiener Blutrausch. Interesting plate in every way. Try!!!!
